First edition for the degree award in memory of Andrea Mancini, financed by Orim S.p.A. at the Faculty of Law of the University of Macerata on the topic of Environmental Law.
On the occasion of the awarding of the prize, on Wednesday 30 October - at 3.30 p.m., in Room 6 of the Department of Law, Piaggia dell'Università , 2 - Macerata, a round table entitled "Legislation, administration and jurisdiction in environmental protection" will be held, moderated by Prof. De Leonardis, Professor of Environmental Law, at the University of Macerata. De Leonardis, lecturer in administrative law at the Unimc University, at which Professors Sara Spuntarelli (Unicam), Pamela Lattanzi (Unimc) and Francesco Bottoni and Engineer Alfredo Mancini, Director of Orim S.p.A., will speak.
The meeting will be an opportunity to discuss the main regulatory tools that govern the world of the environment in general, with particular reference to waste management.
"I believe that the world of the environment, and especially waste management, is a cross-cutting topic for all life activities and therefore of absolute importance for the good of all living beings on Earth," specifies Eng. Mancini: "This issue should be reflected in the possibility of having the University, especially the professors in Environmental Law, as an active and critical partner with respect to the Ministerial Legislative Offices, which instead, due to 'political' pressure, issue confused, contradictory, and jumbled regulations that ultimately produce exactly the opposite effect to what should be the case. The motivation for the degree award is the push that my son Andrea, as CEO of the company Orim S.p.A., wanted to give to allow the birth of an innovative opinion movement within the university world that had to become aware of the need to improve the environment and consequently the regulations that manage it
